Backyard Buffers-POSTPONED

MARCH 20, 2020 - THE BACKYARD BUFFER PROGRAM HAS BEEN POSTPONED WITH A NEW DATE TO BE DETERMINED.

The Backyard Buffer program is supported by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources and the Calvert County Master Gardeners with its partner the American Chestnut Land Trust, and provides Calvert County homeowners free tree seedlings to create a native riparian forest in their backyard.

Pickup Dates: April 18, 2020 - 9:00am to 1:00pm
April 22, 2020 - 3:00pm to 6:00pm
(Alternative - April 20-24 between the hours of 8:30am-4:30pm)
**Any bundles not picked up by April 24th will be given to someone else**

Reservations made through this form are for bare-root seedling bundles that will include a mix of native trees and shrubs, approximately 1-2 feet in height suitable for planting in moist soil conditions. Two sizes of seedlings are offered, shrub/small tree and large tree.
