DEADLINE EXTENDED! The United States Census Bureau has extended the deadline for participating in the US Census due to COVID-19. The new deadline is August 14, 2020. Your participation in the 2020 Census matters to Calvert County. The census is a once-every-decade count of everyone living in the country. Ensuring that everyone’s counted is vital to planning and funding for public health and safety, schools, transportation projects, public assistance programs and ensuring equal representation in Congress. Counting every resident will provide our community about 18,250 dollars per person in Federal Funding over a decade. Participation in the 2020 Census is
