Use Caution

When walking, biking or driving in town, please use caution! We understand the need for fresh air, but each citizen must be responsible. Be mindful of and keep a safe distance from residents who may be in their yard or on their porch. Keep a safe distance from other people walking on the sidewalks, but do not walk in the street. When driving in North Beach, especially Bay Avenue, take extra precaution and travel the speed limit or below the speed limit. Do not walk, bike or drive the wrong way down the street. Please plan ahead and think of the safety of yourself and others around you.

“This is a deadly public health crisis—we are no longer asking or suggesting that Marylanders stay home, we are directing them to do so,” said Governor Hogan. “No Maryland resident should be leaving their home unless it is for an essential job or for an essential reason such as obtaining food or medicine, seeking urgent medical attention, or for other necessary purposes.”

- Governor Larry Hogan
