Farmers' Market, Classic Car Cruise-In and Art Fair

If it’s a Friday night during the summer, you know the place to be is the Friday Night Farmers' Market, Classic Car Cruise-In and Art Fair! On Friday, June 22, 2018 from 6 to 9 pm, come on out and enjoy a nice evening in North Beach! Don't forget that our town is "pedestrian-friendly" so you can walk from one end to the other and enjoy all that we have to offer. {Casual & Fine Dining, Unique Shopping, 7-Block Waterfront, 1/2 Mile Boardwalk & Bike Path, Boat Slips, Wetlands Overlook Park, Sunrise Garden, Callis Park}

North Beach American Film Festival

The NBAFF showcases the best in American Independent Film, spotlighting films that exhibit the multi-cultural and diverse aspects of American life. The festival will have its 2nd annual event June 22-24, 2018 in the beautiful town of North Beach, Maryland. The event will hold 8 screening blocks, complete with two special presentation waterfront screenings at sunset as well as educational seminars and an awards ceremony. DrinkMaryland

This Saturday, June 23, 2018, from 12 pm to 5 pm, the Maryland Wineries Association will be back with their event, DrinkMaryland. This premier local craft beverage event will feature local wine, cider, beer and spirits. This event has an open air farmers market feel, welcoming people of all ages to celebrate Maryland products! Browse local produce from regional farmers, handmade crafts and enjoy live music — all the while learning about the local craft beverage industries. Entry is free; tasting passes may be purchased here or at the festival on Saturday.

SUNRISE: A Celebration of the Arts

This Saturday, June 23, 2018, from 12 to 5 pm, the town will have the 3rd Annual sculpture competition and art festival. The sculpture winners will have their work displayed for one year at the Sunrise Garden located at the corner of 3rd Street & Bay Avenue. Juried artists display their work the day of the festival. This year, the artists will be intermixed with DrinkMaryland vendors. Sculpture winners and art festival winners will be announced at 2 pm at the gazebo in Sunrise Garden.

Road Closures

The following streets will be closed for the above events starting Friday, June 22, 2018 at 4 pm:

  • Bay Avenue at 3rd Street
  • 3rd Street at Chesapeake Avenue
  • 5th Street at Chesapeake Avenue

The streets will re-open Saturday night after all cleanup activities have been completed.

Parking

There are multiple parking lots and on-street parking areas conveniently located throughout town. If you encounter a road closure where you normally park, there are other parking options available: southeast corner of Chesapeake Avenue and 5th Street, northeast corner of Chesapeake Avenue and 5th Street, on Chesapeake Avenue just south of 7th Street, on Chesapeake Avenue just south of 5th Street in the Senior Center parking lot.
