Gregg Dotson

I am currently serving my third term on the North Beach Town Council. Thank you, North Beach, for trusting and believing in me as it is truly a privilege and honor of the upmost! I have spent the past 39 years employed by the federal government, 22 of those years serving honorably in the Air Force until retirement in August 2001. I currently work at the Pentagon as Chief of Ceremonies and Special Events for the Secretary of the Army and Chief of Staff of the Army.

Previously on the Town Council, I served as Council Vice President, Council Liaison to the North Beach Special Events Committee and represented the Council by serving as Vice President, Southern Maryland Municipal Association. I served on the Maryland Municipal League (MML) Board of Directors as Board Member, District 4 Vice President, Executive Committee Secretary and Executive Committee Treasurer. In addition, I served as Vice Chairman of MML Legislative Committee and Chairman of MML Convention Planning Committee. I also served on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Southern Maryland.

I am committed to sound, conservative, and responsible fiscal accountability to the taxpayers by curbing wasteful spending and working to reduce property taxes. I believe Government should be open and transparent, making sure every resident’s voice is heard prior to voting for what is best for all of North Beach. I plan to work towards sensible economic development; preserving this beautiful small place that we call “home” and make it safer for all North Beach residents and visitors.
