Storm Drain Clean Out

UPDATE: 9/15/2020: The contactor has completed the work to clean the large storm drain pipe from the beach outfall to the intersection of 5th Street and Chesapeake Avenue. There was approximately 24 inches of silt and debris laying in the bottom third of the pipe. The contactor has removed 185 tons of debris from pipe.

Beginning Monday, July 27, 2020, 5th Street between Chesapeake Avenue and Bay Avenue will be closed for approximately two weeks. The reason for the road closure is to allow a contractor to clean the large storm drain pipe located in this area. We apologize for the inconvenience.
