2023 Polar Bear Plunge

Only a few more days until the coolest event of the year! On January 1, 2023 at 1:00 pm, brave participants will plunge into the frigid waters of the Chesapeake Bay. Pre-registration will close at 11:59 pm tonight, December 28, 2022. If you haven't completed the online registration form and paid here, please do so by this evening. Pre-registration GUARANTEES you receive a personalized plunge certificate and a plunge t-shirt on the day of the plunge. If you cannot make this evening's registration deadline, you may register on January 1st at 11 am at the Welcome Center.
