Building Fire at Department of Public Works Building

December 29, 2022: At approximately 7:00 pm this evening, town staff were alerted to a building fire at the Department of Public Works building at 4030 11th Street in North Beach. Multiple fire departments quickly responded and were able to contain the fire to the garage area of the building. Mayor Benton, Town Council, and staff members would like to thank the North Beach Volunteer Fire Department, Dunkirk Volunteer Fire Department, Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department for their swift response this evening. Additional details will be shared as they become available.
