Eagle Watch Car Tour

Bald Eagles have made a terrific comeback with Endangered Species protection. Monitoring eagle nest activities helps Maryland Bird Conservation Partnership keep data on our majestic American Icon, the Bald Eagle. The Town of North Beach Department of Community Conservation is inviting families and bird lovers to join us on Saturday, January 22, 2022 and Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 9 to 11:30am at Wetlands Overlook Park.  We will use a map to locate 3 potential bald eagle nest sites by travelling in individual cars.  We will evaluate with binoculars and spotting scope if the nests are active.  Masks are requested outdoors in close contact.  For more information or to register contact Lisa Garrett at 443-646-2426 or email lgarrett@northbeachmd.org.
