Earth Day Celebration

Learn how North Beach does Earth Day Every Day at the Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 10 am to 12 pm at Wetlands Overlook Park. Chat with committee members and community groups to learn more about what they do.

  • Community Conservation Department

Join the fun at the activity table: build and decorate eco-birdhouses, learn how to attract bluebirds and other birds that use houses. Participate in the trail and park cleanup. There will be a drawing for eco-prizes. At 10:30, we will take a Family Green Nature Walk followed by a question and answer session with community groups at 11 am to talk about North Beach initiatives on flooding and stormwater, recycling, composting, tree canopy, rain gardens and pollinator gardens.
