The electric vehicle charging station in North Beach is situated at 9125 Chesapeake Avenue, conveniently located near the intersection of 7th Street and Chesapeake Avenue, within the town's municipal parking lot. This charging facility features a dual station, allowing two vehicles to charge simultaneously. It's important to note that vehicles parked in the designated green electric vehicle charging spots must be actively charging. To emphasize this requirement, new signage has been installed, stating: "VEHICLE MUST BE CHARGING WHEN PARKED IN THIS SPOT. VIOLATORS WILL BE TOWED AT OWNER’S EXPENSE. PURSUANT TO MD TRANSPORTATION CODE ANN. §21-1003.2, VIOLATORS ARE SUBJECT TO A FINE OF $100."
