Family Moth Night

Family Moth Night is still on for tonight and tomorrow night. If there are heavy rains this evening, the event will be cancelled. Good weather is predicted for Saturday! Come out and help us find cool moths by black lighting.

Join the Department of Community Conservation for Family Moth Night on Friday, July 29, 2022 and Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 8 to 10pm at Wetlands Overlook Park where our naturalist will demonstrate different techniques for discovering our night flying moths.  We will "sugar" for moths, use bait traps and a blacklight sheet tent to see what creatures come out at night.  This event will be cancelled if it rains.  If you would like to volunteer to help with set up or for additional information, send email to lgarrett@northbeachmd.org.
