Glow Vigil for International Overdose Awareness Day

Join us on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 7:30 to 9 pm at the North Beach Pavilion as we honor the memory of loved ones lost to overdose death. International Overdose Awareness Day is a global event to raise awareness that overdose death is preventable and to reduce the stigma associated with drug-related death. This day also acknowledges the grief felt by family and friends remembering those who have died or had a permanent injury as the result of a drug overdose. Presented by the Twin Beach Opioid Abuse Awareness Committee and Calvert County advocacy partners.
