The Maryland Homeowner Assistance Fund was created to help homeowners who are struggling with their mortgage payments or other housing costs due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The State of Maryland received $248 million through the fund, which is administered by the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development, to support mortgage relief, housing related costs like property taxes, emergency home repairs, housing counseling, and legal services. The program is open to qualified Maryland homeowners now!
