International Overdose Awareness Day

International Overdose Awareness Day is August 31st. Be sure to pick-up your FREE purple lightbulb starting Saturday, August 6th to help "Light Calvert Purple" at multiple locations throughout Calvert County. On August 28th, you may pick up your purple lightbulb at the North Beach Town Hall from 6 to 8 pm. Check out the bulb distribution schedule below for more details.

Light the purple bulbs on August 31st in your front window or on your porch to honor those lost to an overdose. Just as important is your attendance at the Glow Vigil and "Lost Souls" exhibit at the North Beach Pavilion at 7:30 pm.
