NBAFF Virtual Festival

NBAFF
20 years ago, our nation was rocked by an unprecedented attack. This action revealed the heroes amongst us. Our ability to unify, stand in solidarity, heal and recover as a nation should be the blueprint on how we as American citizens move forward against our adversities and differences. The North Beach American Film Festival was created to give voice to all American filmmakers, encompassing color and creed, so that we can have a communal showcase of our voices, stories, dreams, and ideas. In 2021, we are reeling from a different attack altogether. The on-going COVID effect on our community has put our community leaders in very precarious positions concerning the health and safety of others. Regrettably, NBAFF’s 5th year has been cancelled from the live experience that we were hoping to return to. We are happy to announce that our festival will be available online from September 11, 2021 to September 17, 2021.

In honor of our supporters and filmmakers, we will grant free access to this year’s films. We will also work with the Town of North Beach’s government and business owners to create future events that will give our filmmaker’s an opportunity to screen their films to a live audience while hoping to foster audience and artists’ conversations about the work presented.

I want to personally thank you all (filmmakers, sponsors, followers, and participants) for continuing to support our festival. The Town of North Beach continues to be incredibly supportive, as well as the good folks at Artworks at 7th, Bayside History Museum, Bay Wine and Spirits and all others who continue to be a part of our event.

In summary, the 5th Annual NBAFF will go live September 11th, access can be found on our website: nbaff.org. We hope you take time to check out our selections and that you enjoy the films.
