North Beach Announces Grant Award

The Town of North Beach was recently awarded a grant through the Maryland Community Development Block Grant Program, with the Ladies of Charity Calvert County named as the subrecipient. This substantial grant, totaling $700,000 from the Department of Housing and Community Development, has been designated for the construction of a new Ladies of Charity Calvert County Food Pantry at their existing site located at 8823 Dayton Avenue, North Beach, MD.

The new Food Pantry will not only enable the Ladies of Charity to sustain their invaluable service to our town and surrounding areas but will also extend their impact over many years to come.
