Passing of Former Town Councilman, Business Owner

The North Beach community is saddened by the passing of former Town Councilman and business owner, Tom Crockett. Tom was a Town of North Beach Councilman and owner and operator of Tans Cycles Parts for many years.

In his early twenties, Tom started his own business, Tans Cycles Parts in North Beach. He serviced and provided parts and accessories for Harley Davidson Motorcycles for more than 40 years. Tom also had a love for trains since he was a child and started to collect various train sets. He set up his first train display inside Tans during the holiday season of the year 2000. Each year thereafter, his train displays grew to the point that he had to clear his motorcycle showroom to make room for the trains.
