Passing of Former Town Councilwoman

Former Councilwoman Lynda “Lyn” Striegel passed away on March 11, 2023. Lyn was an attorney, businesswoman, artist and devoted community member. According to Lyn’s family, memorial details will be provided at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks mourners to “visit Artworks@7^th, and buy something if the spirit moves you.”

Mayor Benton, members of the Town Council and the staff of the Town of North Beach wish to extend deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Lyn.

As one of the founding members of Artworks@7^th and for her passion of painting, Lyn is being honored by having her works showcased during the month of April. Artworks@7^th is located at 8905 Chesapeake Avenue in North Beach.
