Reminder: Nature Center Ribbon Cutting, Earth Day Event

The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new North Beach Nature Center at Wetlands Overlook Park will be Saturday, April 22, 2023. Join us at 1 pm as we cut the ribbon and offer a sneak peek at the Nature Center. The Nature Center is a Community Parks and Playgrounds Program assisted project  Parking at Wetlands Overlook Park is limited. Ride-sharing is recommended. Please be mindful of the residential properties in the area.

The Town of North Beach's Earth Day Everyday Celebration will take place on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Wetlands Overlook Park. The event will begin immediately following the 1 pm ribbon cutting at the new North Beach Nature Center and will continue until 4 pm. The event will include a sneak peek at the new North Beach Nature Center, children's activities, and a “Right Tree, Right Place” native tree giveaway sponsored by the North Beach Tree Committee. A short hike will be led by Tree Committee members to install signage on the County Champion Virginia Pine on the Woodland Trail.
